Pravasi Bharatiya Express in January 2025

For the members of Diaspora in Slovenia here is yet another opportunity to experience India’s culture and heritage this time through well curated train journey across India with the diaspora members from all over the world in Special Pravasi Bharatiye Express train.

 

The Pravasi Bharatiye Express train is a special initiative by the Government of India under the Pravasi Teerth Darshan Yojana (PTDY). This exclusive tour is being organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). A state-of-the-art tourist train will take you across multiple destinations of cultural, religious, and touristic significance in India. The three-week tour will commence on January 9, 2025, from the Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi covering Ayodhya, Patna, Gaya, Varanasi, Mahabalipuram, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kochi, Goa, Ekta Nagar (Kevadia), Ajmer, Pushkar, and Agra.

 

This is a fully Government of India sponsored tour with 90 % subsidized return airfare for eligible PIOs from their countries or origin to India. Participates will need to cover only 10 % of their return airfare to benefit from the scheme.



Eligibility

  • PIOs between 45 and 65 years of age
