As a part of the celebrations of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" for commemorating and celebrating 75 years of Independence of India, Government of India is organising on online titled "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) Quiz" from January 1 to 31 January 2022 for three categories i.e. PIOs (People of Indian Origin)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), NRIs (Non Resident Indians) and Foreign Nationals between the age group of 16 to 35 years as on 1 January 2022 (Born on or after 1 January 1987 and on or before 31 December 2005).
- The registration is open at the portal www.akamquiz.in from 1st December 2021 onwards. The participants can register now anytime from 1st December 2021 till 31st January 2022 at the above portal. A participant is required to generate a unique use name and password by registering online at the portal www.akamquiz.in in order to participate in the online quiz.
- The quiz will be conducted in ONE round only. It is an online quiz with a single session of 60 minutes for 60 questions. Contents of the quiz is available at the portal www.akamquiz.in. Participants can also take a Mock Quiz before attempting the main quiz.
- The top 3 participants in each category i.e. NRI, PIO/OCI and Foreigner from Slovenia would be declared the winners. The top 3 winners from each category will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals with the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" logo.
