The largest event of Chemicals and Petrochemical Industry in India, in its 10th edition i.e. India-Chem 2018 would be organized from 4-6 October 2018 jointly by the Department of Chemical and Petrochemicals, Government of India and FICCI.
India is emerging as one of the focus destination for chemical companies due to its high domestic consumption growth and Government’s “Make in India” is creating conducive environment to facilitate investments. The initiative is expected to foster growth in Indian chemical industry by enabling duty rationalization for feedstock, improving infrastructure and R&D &skill development along with ease of regulation for setting up "Reverse SEZs" and tax incentives for R&D investments.
Indian Chemical Industry is estimated to be valued at $ 155 billion in 2017. In terms of volume, the Indian chemical industry is the 7th largest in the world and the 3rd largest in Asia. 100% FDI is already permissible in the Indian chemical sector.
India-Chem is one of the largest composite events of Chemicals and Petrochemicals industry of the Asia-Pacific region. The event comprises of an international exhibition and a conference of representatives of participating global giants from various associated fields.
