Announcement for extension of date for conversion of handwritten PIO cards to machine readable OCI cards

        Government of India has now stopped accepting existing handwritten PIO Cards, only machine readable OCI Cards will be accepted.

        This Mission would like to inform all PIO Cards holders living in Slovenia that it will be necessary for all existing PIO Card holders to obtain Machine Readable OCI cards in lieu of existing handwritten PIO Cards before December 31, 2022 to avoid any inconvenience.
